My Stepdaughter and Son-in-Law Eloped to Italy

I was so excited when my stepdaughter and son-in-law told me they were eloping and heading to Italy! They really wanted a small, intimate ceremony with just their closest family and friends which was perfect for them.

I was honored when they asked me to be their photographer in Italy. David and I had never been there, and were thrilled to have the opportunity to experience this beautiful country with them.

We flew into Rome and spent a day exploring there and Mount Vesuvius. We then drove to Positano, a small town on the Amalfi Coast, known for its beautiful beaches, colorful villas and winding streets.

They wanted their images to embrace Amalfi with streets overlooking the village, and on way winding down to the beach with so many photogenic opportunities around every corner. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Later in the week, each of us wanted a quiet romantic dinner at La Tagliata restaurant up in the cliffs, and ended up booking for the same night and time, so we again enjoyed their company!

We spent the next few days relaxing on Arienzo Beach Club, taking a boat trip along the coast, shopping for my usual souvenirs and exploring the village. It was the perfect way to celebrate their love.

I'm so grateful that they invited me to be a part of their special day. It was an unforgettable experience that we will cherish forever.
